OUR PROCESS
With over 35 years experience in commercial cabinetry and woodwork we have worked in and understand the industry, we know what you are looking for. We have experience in all aspects of the casework and millwork industry. One thing we promise is that you will not just get a re-draw of the architectural drawings, you will get a well thought out, pre-engineered set of submittals, a set with production, installation and cost savings in mind. We can draw to your standards or create your standards. Whether you just need help with overflow work, or you want us to be your CAD department – give us a try!
With extensive knowledge of AWI Quality Standards and Woodwork Institute Standards, you can rest assured you are working with a professional in the industry. We use AutoCAD or Microvellum to produce our drawings and have extensive knowledge in the common standards used.
In addition to AutoCAD we also use Bluebeam, Zoom, Teams, OneDrive, Dropbox and other software to expedite the process and better collaborate with you and your team.
How much does it cost?
We have a pricing system that allows us to quickly get a fixed price back to you. Depending on the size, scope and level of detail required shop drawings will cost between 1.5% to 3.5% of your contract value.
How does the process work?
- You send us the drawings and scope of work for your project.
- We send you a FIXED price and timeframe.
- You approve the proposal and send downpayment
- We draw the project
- We send you a PDF set for your review
- You make your corrections and send back to us
- We implement and send back a revised set ready for you to submit to your client
- Final payment is made and CAD file is sent to you
If additional changes are required after submittal such as change orders or architect revisions we charge an hourly rate.
How long does it take?
We are very flexible with our time frames and can usually accommodate any request. Typical lead-time is 1-4 weeks
How do I pay?
We accept checks, credit cards or ACH. We use Freshbooks to manage payments and invoicing, so you can see all your invoices in one place.
What programs do you use?
We use AutoCAD or Microvellum to produce our shop drawings.
